Cook has been making a full-time living at music since 2007, touring extensively across Canada, the US, Europe, Asia and Australia, and is currently on tour in support of his fourth release, One More Time Around, which Canada's premier roots music magazine Penguin Eggs calls "as much a manifesto as a musical work," teeming with "wry observations and hopeful life lessons." Dirty Grace

Dirty Grace is a trio of songwriters who formed in 2007 on traditional Lekwungen territory (Victoria, BC). The band produces a playful mix of music ranging from the provocatively cheeky to the intimately introspective, while exploring music's ability to expose, shake-down, tickle and heal the human spirit. Deep, moving three-part harmonies swelling under contagious melodies characterize the Dirty Grace sound. With musical flavors ranging from dixieland, swing, tribal indie-pop to alternative hip hop, Dirty Grace offers up a soulful circusy soundtrack for the times we're living in.

After three cross-Canada tours, a few meditation retreats and a deep dive into clown school the band continues to develop its live show into an interactive, honest experience that works just as well for a small crowd at a house concert or café, as it does at a large club or festival.

Grandmothers Healing Haka

GRANDMOTHERS HEALING HAKA was created by Mere Tewake Tana, her grandson Ojasvin Kingi Davis and Whanau in 1998, inspired by the "Earth celebration" in Switzerland, an arts festival of all cultures of the world.

HAKA is an anciant power dance practiced by Maori people from New Zealand. It is known to be vigorously expressed with strong vocal and dynamic body gestures. This art form not only can prepare your state of mind for battle, but it can also bring your mind toward the state of healing. It gives you empowerment and self-confidence.

GRANDMOTHERS HEALING HAKA is a dance that transforms lives. It is for everyone, young and old, male and female. It brings the male and female energies back into balance and creates peace within yourself, for mother earth.

GRANDMOTHERS HEALING HAKA SEMINARS are very powerful, deep, liberating, safe, warm, loving, healing and joyful. Out of silence and ritual, we sing, shout, make music and dance Haka. With a full healing heart we create all together dynamic free peace. This power dance imparts wisdom and love from the tradition of the Waitaha-Maori grandmothers, the water carriers, to encourage people to remember their own cultural roots.

Remembering our roots is helping to sustain the cultural diversity, which is disappearing. This is happening every day as our modern world is consuming the natural resources of our planet. The abundance of our world, can be seen as a garden of flowers, full of fragrance, full of colour, full of beauty that inspires and nourishes our whole well-being.

Cassius Khan

The internationally renowned CASSIUS KHAN is a master performer of combining the Classical styles of Ghazal/Thumri singing and the Tabla, the North Indian pair of drums and presents both, simultaneously. He is the sole disciples of the late Malika e Tarranum Mushtari Begum (Dec 25th 1934-March 14th 2004) and Tabla maestro Ustad Rukhsar Ali.

A charismatic and witty personality both on and off stage, Khan is the only professional performing artist in the world who plays the Tabla and sings traditional Classical Ghazals (Urdu poetry) and Thumris (light classical compositions in Hindi) simultaneously. His talent has stunned audiences since most Ghazalists play Harmonium. Combining Indian Classical singing with Tabla, for a single artist, is a first in Indian classical music and many noted Indian Classical Music gurus have proclaimed that singing and playing Tabla in unison is a near impossible feat to master.

Doug Koyama

Doug Koyama makes songs about love. Each impromptu composition is the expression of the moment in which it exists.

"Improvised A Capella is the art of getting out of the way of the music that naturally wants to come from you. All you need to remember is take a breath, make a sound, keep going."

Improvised A Capella with a loop pedal is the most compelling thing you've never heard before. Rich vocals are looped in limitless layers of interlocking patterns where poly-rhythm and discordance dance on impossible aural landscapes. Invented language introduces the idea of storytelling without the encumbrance of words, the whole thing melts into an experience that will leave you breathless.

"I believe that music is in us when we are born and that the details of life slowly suppress it as we grow." Doug says, adding, "When we reconnect with that internal symphony we reawaken ideas of self, connection and joy."

Kytami

If a line exists between classical and electronic, between ancient and new age, synthetic and organic, Kytami has sliced them all using only a violin bow... but what more does she need? Apparently nothing at all, as Kytami has already been dubbed a 'music revolutionary' by Whats Up Magazine USA, a 'violinextremist' here at home, and has been summoned to bring her violin thunder to audiences as far reaching as Taiwan, Dubai and Berlin.

Through an alchemy of classical, fiddle styles fused with the heavy bass elements of Dubstep and Hip Hop, Kytami has managed to soar above not only the constraints of musical genre and labeling, but has forged a path so bold and unique that it's taken her collaborations alongside groups from Swollen Members to acoustic punk rockers Blackie and The Triumphs.

Today she is regularly dubbed Canada's most diverse and engaging fiddle player, a title emphasized by her win for Live Act of the Year at the 2013 Vancouver Island Music Awards.

Rhoneil

Rhoneil moved from Montreal to British Columbia in 2010 to make explorative, devotional records in the woods. Since that time, Rhoneil's work has matured into a sonic exploration of the mystical. Rhoneil layers her vocals with electronic drums, field recordings, organ, and harp.

Traveler's sound is an innovative, new fusion of World Music and Rock. Using traditional ethnic instruments combined with all the power of a full blown rock band, their performances are intense, exotic and adrenaline-driven.

The real magic of a Traveler show is in the connection they make with the audience. GoGo Bonkers

The GoGo Bonkers performance is a wild musical ride full of Ogres, fairies, ravens, bears and trees. Several of these characters try to make the world a better place everyday. Like Treevor, the tree spirit, who sings about the importance of trees and all the things that are made from trees, or The Canadian Potato, who is a zany farmer who loves to plant, grow, eat and sing about fresh, locally grown potatoes, or Molly Mushroom, a dancing fairy that sings beautiful songs about the virtues of spending time outside in nature. And then there is Olagg the Ogre, a friendly Ogre that uses his big muscles and fists to crush rocks to make homes and bridges.

The GoGo Bonkers performance also introduces characters that are confronted with the realities of our garbage producing society. Heavy Bear is a character that has had his habitat destroyed, so he roams into the cities to find food….in our garbage cans! And then there is Mudlee, an old fisherman who "fishes for garbage" because all the fish he used to catch, have disappeared.
